Catering Terms & Conditions

The following information and common questions are provided to ensure everyone understands what to expect and to avoid any confusion.

By confirming a booking, you agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

Booking & Payments

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your event date.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation.
  • The final balance is also non-refundable once paid.
  • An invoice will be sent prior to the event, and full payment must be received and cleared at least two weeks before the event date.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be made in writing.
  • If the event is cancelled, the 25% booking deposit will be retained.
  • If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the full balance remains payable as food preparation, staffing, and purchasing commitments will already have been made.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a change of date where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation.
  • In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (serious illness, accident, or events preventing safe operation), any payments made will be refunded in full. Our liability will be limited to the total amount paid.

Event Planning

  • At the time of booking, an estimated number of guests will be discussed.
  • If guest numbers change, the price may change, and a set-up fee may apply.
  • We will contact you 2–3 weeks before the event to confirm final guest numbers, menu choices and event details.

Access, Parking & Facilities

  • The client must ensure safe and reasonable access to the venue for loading and unloading equipment and food.
  • Suitable parking must be available close to the venue. Where parking charges, permits, congestion charges, or fines apply, they will be the client's responsibility.
  • Where required for catering equipment, the client must provide access to electricity and/or water.
  • If access is delayed or restricted, or facilities are not available as agreed, service times may be affected, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting delays or reduced service.

On the Day

  • We aim to arrive approximately 1.5 hours before the agreed serving time to set up.
  • We cater strictly for the number of portions booked. For example, if catering is booked for 100 guests, we will provide 100 portions.
  • Guests are kindly asked to take one portion each initially to ensure everyone is served. Once all guests have been served, seconds are welcome (subject to availability).

Service Duration

  • After all guests have been served, we will begin packing up.
  • Our service includes remaining at the event for up to 2 hours after the agreed serving time, unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Food Safety & Leftovers

  • Any food remaining after service is left at the client’s request.
  • Once food has been served or handed over, the client becomes responsible for ensuring it is stored and maintained at safe temperatures.
  • We cannot accept any responsibility for the safety, quality, or consumption of food after the service period has ended or once it has left our control.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

  • The client must inform us in advance of any allergies or specific dietary requirements.
  • While we take care in food preparation, our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients, and we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
  • We cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where dietary requirements have not been clearly communicated prior to the event.
